Debra Colburn Leon, President and Owner

 

Debra Leon is president of Health Contact Partners, Inc., an independent Health Call Center located near Chicago. Health Contact Partners provides bilingual contact center support to its clients 24 hours per day via telephone, online live chat, e-mail, and mail. In August 2006, Leon served as conference chair at the "Optimizing Patient Engagement for Health Plans" conference in Chicago. There she presented key strategies that she has implemented for various clients such as Matria Healthcare, Caremark, and others. Those strategies include script enhancement, staff development, metric analysis, and process redesign. In each case, program enrollment increased a minimum of 100%, and program retention increased a minimum of 40%. Prior to founding Health Contact Partners, Leon was Welcome Center Director for CorSolutions Medical. She was responsible for creating significant increases in participant program engagement for the company's Opt-in programs and for transitioning the company to a successful Opt-out model for population programs. Her company currently provides enrollment and engagement outsourced services for health management services companies, 24/7 Nurse Line, and Care Advocate services.

              Steve Horvath, Vice President and General Manager

Steve Horvath is Vice President and General Manager of Health Contact Partners. In this role, Steve is responsible for all clinical and call center operations, information technology, human resources, finance and administration. His main focus has been on supporting upcoming expansion with the staffing, operations and technology to assure our customers receive the most integrated, medically sound guidance on an around-the-clock basis.” Steve has 17+ years experience in managing health insurance administration organizations. Most recently, he was a member of the New Growth Ventures team for The Trustmark Companies, driving the company’s diversification into new health services businesses. He played a significant role in scoping the company’s interest in consumer health services and was directly responsible for Trustmark’s recent acquisition of Health Contact Partners. Prior to this, Steve spent several years as 2nd Vice President of Underwriting, Compliance and Administration for Star Marketing and Administration, Assistant Vice President of Benefits Administration for Trustmark Insurance, and Field Underwriting and Sales for The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from The University of Iowa, and AHIP insurance designations of Health Insurance Associate and Associate, Customer Service.
 
 

Sue Brown RN, BSN, CCRN, Vice President of Clinical Operations

 

Ms Brown is responsible for the daily operations of the 24/7 Nurse Line team including the highly trained staff of Nurses and Care Specialists. She directs and implements the training, staffing, education and policies of her team. Ms Brown is also responsible for heading up new client implementations and providing positive client experiences. She is constantly working to ensure customer satisfaction with results-oriented outcomes. Ms Brown's background includes hospital administration at Rush North Shore Medical Center, where she served as Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services. Prior to this position, she was the Patient Care Director for Surgical Intensive Care, Medical Intensive Care, and the Surgical Telemetry Unit at Rush North Shore. Ms Brown is currently completing her M.A. in Health Systems Management, and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. Ms. Brown brings her extensive career in Clinical Management, including staff development, scheduling and process improvement to support initiatives for growth at Health Contact Partners. Sue joined the management team in November 2004.

 

George M. Main, Vice President of Operations

 

Mr. Main is the Call Center Director at HCP and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Center. Previous to HCP, he held a position with Sprint PCS as their Workforce Manager. Mr. Main was responsible for call routing, call handling, reporting, payroll and scheduling for a 500 seat / 1300 employee Call Center. Previous to his tenure with Sprint PCS, he began his Call Center Career at M.I.T. in Niles, IL. owned by Nightingale Conant Corporation. As Workforce Manager, Mr. Main managed call routing, call handling and client reporting for a two site, 24 hour a day, 365 day a year Call Center with over 300 employees.

 

Caleb Wilson, IT Director

 

Mr. Wilson is a certified senior network engineer with extensive experience in network analysis, security, system design, hardware implementation, network connectivity and enterprise level administration. Especially knowledgeable of the Microsoft suite of products, operating systems and design technologies. Caleb, is very skilled in peripheral connectivity as well as WAN and LAN design and implementation, including router and firewall configuration, hardware repair and user training. With over 12 years of experience in the IT field his direction and vision combined with his creativity and experience provide a strong, level foundation for the Information Technology department at Health Contact Partners.
