A mom had called about her 7 year-old son who was having abdominal pain. Our Nurse Linda took the
call and determined the boy should be sent to the ER. The mom originally thought his symptoms
were flu related. It turned out that her son’s appendix had burst a few days earlier, and the doctor’s told
her that she made it just in time. He had surgery and celebrated his 8th birthday in the hospital.
The mom said that My Nurse 24/7 had “saved her son’s life” and she called to thank us!
